The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, July 3, 1947 John Hillard Dillahay Services for John Hillard Dillahay, World War II veteran of Friendship, Tenn., who died at 1:15 Saturday afternoon at Kennedy Veterans Hospital were held at 2 Sunday afternoon at the Friendship Baptist Church. Burial in Bell Vernon Cemetery in Friendship with National Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Dillahay, who was 23, leaves his mother, Mrs. L. H. Camp, and his father, C. W. Dillahay, both of Friendship; three sisters, Miss Peggy Dillahay and Mrs. Billie Hays, both of Memphis, and Mrs. Nina Ottinger of Friendship; a half sister, Sandra Camp of Friendship, and three brothers, Bobby and Charles Dillahay, both of Friendship, and Pfc. Bruce Dillahay of the U. S. Army, stationed at Panama City, Fla. |
