The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, April 18, 1946 Mrs. G. L. Davis Funeral services Thursday at 2 p.m. at the residence for Mrs. G. L. Davis, age 48, by Rev. J. P. Irion and Rev. Carl Davis. Mrs. Davis was born in Crockett County and had been ill for several months. She died at her home Tuesday afternoon. Surviving members are her husband, one daughter, Miss Mary Nell Davis, one sister, Mrs. E. T. Laman of Alamo and one brother, Homer Craig of Humboldt. Burial will be in Humboldt under the direction of Evans and Lasiter Funeral Home. Mary Craig Davis was the daughter of Joseph Martin Craig & Lela F. Cox.
