DEATH--Fourteen year old Billy DANIEL had no mother and so he helped with the family cooking while his father and older brother worked in the field. But Billy will cook no more meals for his dad. He is dead from burns received when fire destroyed the farm house where he was cooking dinner. Coal oil is believed to have started the fire. He never regained consciousness to tell hoe the fire started and died late Thursday at Blytheville, Ark. The family had moved a month ago from Alamo, Tenn., to the H. W. WYLIE Plantation at Hickman, 16 miles east of Blytheville, Ark. Services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday in Alamo, at Cypress Methodist Church, burial in Cypress Cemetery. He leaves his father, William DANIELS; five sisters, Mrs. Pauline TURNER, of Gibson Wells, Tenn., Mrs. Mary POOLE, of Chicago, Mrs. Merle ROWELLS, of Benton Harbor, Mich., Mrs. Mildred BODKINS, of Humboldt, and Mrs. Lois MILLER, of Alamo; three brothers, James DANIELS, of Amarillo, Ark., Melvin DANIELS, of Gibson Wells, Tenn., and Joe DANIELS, of Blytheville.
