W. T. Cox Obituary

COXVILLE ITEMS--Word came to us last Thursday that W. T. COX was dead. He was the last survivor of a large and well-known family, his parents, Mose and Mary COX, having settled here in the year 1826, and reared a family of twelve children to be grown and married. He was 70 years old and for a number of years had made his home in Round Rock and Bartlett, Texas, where he engaged in the mercantile business, until a few years ago, when he retired from active duty, good fortune having smiled upon him, besides blessing him with a good wife; two sons; and a daughter, who survive him.
