CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL VOLUME 77 NUMBER 8 THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 22, 1949 BELLS, TENNESSEE DEATH--Services were held Sunday at 3 p. m. for A. H. COWAN, who died at his home near Quincy Saturday of a heart attack, at the Quincy Methodist Church. He was 73. He leaves his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond HURT, Mrs. W. L. WALTERS; three sons, Alvin COWAN, Robert COWAN, and Jesse COWAN, all of Alamo; three sisters, Mrs. M. F. HILL, Mrs. M. L. TOMLIN and Mrs. Tom BURNS.
