The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, January 23, 1947 Mrs. Theda Cotton Mrs. Theda Cotton, 21, died Tuesday night at the hospital in Dyersburg. She was a member of the Church of Christ and is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Duncan; one son, Douglas, four brothers, Harold of the Navy, Herbert, Gene and Larry Duncan of Friendship, three sisters, Evelyn, Iris Marie and Lynda Ruth Duncan of Friendship. Funeral services were held at the church of Christ in Friendship Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Ross Spears, minister of Dyersburg. Burial in Friendship Cemetery with Evans and Lasiter Funeral Home in charge. [Her name was given as Theda Mildred Cotten in a card of thanks that was published by her parents] |
