Mattie Hall Cornatzar Obituary

GADSDEN--MRS. GEO. M. CARNATZAR died at her home in Bells Sunday Nov. 18th, after a short illness of pneumonia. Services were conducted at the Christian Church, the remains were brought to Gadsden and interred in Raines Cem., beside her husband who preceded her to the Great Beyond about fourteen years ago. Mrs. CARNATZAR, as Miss Mattie HALL, was born and reared near Gadsden and spent most of her life, three score and ten years in this community. The past few years she has lived at Bells. She is survived by four children; Mrs. Andrew ROOKER, of Bowling Green, Ky., Mrs. Charles HENDERSON, of Bells, Tenn., Hiram CARNATZAR, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Ernest CARNATZAR, of Gadsden. One sister, Mrs. Nannie CASEY survise. (surname spelled CORNATZAR in some places.)
