Joseph A. Cooper Obituary

Joe A. Cooper--Joseph A. Cooper, 76, died at his home in the Johnson Grove community Sunday at 8 p.m. He had been ill for sometime. Mr. Cooper was a farmer and at one time represented the Fourteenth District in the County Court. He was a member of Johnson Grove Baptist Church and was well known throughout this section. His wife, one son, Joseph Cooper, Jr., a daughter O'Neita May Cooper, three grandchildren and one half sister, Mrs. Sarah Barham, survive. Services were Tuesday afternoon at Johnson Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Ewell Hughes assisted by Rev. L. A. Smithmier. Burial was in Robertson Cemetery. Ronk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
