The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, July 15, 1948 Vol. 16 No. 20 Johnny Cook--Johnny R. Cook, prominent merchant and landowner of the Cook's Store community, died July 1 and was buried on Friday afternoon at Floyd's Chapel, near Maury City, the Rev. C. C. Lewis, officiating. Burial was in the cemetery there with Sudbury Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Cook was 66 and leaves his wife and one son, Jack Cook. |
