The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, February 20, 1947 Mrs. Edna Cook Services for Mrs. Edna Cook, widow of Howell Cook, were held Friday morning at the Cairo Church of Christ, Frank Vandyke of Jackson, officiating. Burial in Cairo Cemetery with Sudbury Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Cook died Thursday at the home of her son, Algie Cook, near Maury City. She was 78 years of age and a member of the Church of Christ. Two sons, Algie and Bill Cook of Maury City community; two daughters, Mrs. Hershell Agee of Friendship, Mrs. Horace Cogburn of Maury Junction, and two brothers, Walter King and Ernest King of the Friendship community survive. |
