The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, April 17, 1947 S. A. Compton Mr. S. A. Compton, 82, one of the oldest citizens of Bells, passed away early Tuesday morning at his home, after an illness of a few weeks. He is survived by Miss Gladys Compton, who lived with him and a son, Bland Compton of Honolulu. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will depend on when the son arrives. |
