The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, January 15, 1948 Vol. 15 No. 46 Services for Mrs. Lucy Bates Climer, who died at her home in Friendship, Sunday, January 11 at 6:39 p.m. were held January 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Floyd's Chapel. Burial was in Floyd's Chapel Cemetery with Rev. E. R. Roach as the officiating minister. Mrs. Climer was 68. She is survived by her children; Mrs. Mary Etta Turnage, Jonesboro, Ark., Vera Ann Sturdivant, Friendship, Columbus W. Climer, Friendship, Ruben Climer, Halls, Mrs. Rosa Bell Taber, Newbern and 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Ronk Funeral Home in charge of the services. |
