Crockett County Sentinel May 25, 1923 One of Alamo's oldest citizens, Dr. Jim CLAY, died at his home here Friday afternoon. Dr. CLAY had been in bad health for some months, but his death was due to injuries received in a fall Tuesday night. He was 72 years of age. He was a member of the Second Christian Church. Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Elder PAISLEY. He is survived by his wife and five daughters. Burial took place in the Alamo Cemetery.
