A. B. Chambers Obituary

DEATH--A. B. CHAMBERS, veteran news writer for the State Gazette, died at his home at Friendship Tuesday morning, he was 75. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Thompson CHAMBERS; a son, Johnnie T. CHAMBERS, of Friendship; two grandchildren, Mrs. William GOLDEN, of Memphis and Albert Young CHAMBERS, of Tigrett; his stepmother, Mrs. Ella CHAMBERS; three half-sisters, Mrs. E. T. GORDON, of Memphis, Mrs. Wm. OWENS, of Dyer and Mrs. B. V. CAWTHON, of Memphis; three half-brothers, Leslie CHAMBERS, of Memphis, Carl CHAMBERS, of Birmingham and Ben CHAMBERS, of Dyer. Services were Wednesday in the Friendship Methodist Church, burial in Bellvernon Cemetery.
