T. Fanning Cates Obituary |

T. Fanning Cates, aged about 54 years, died at his home in North Alamo last Saturday evening after several weeks illness. Funeral services were conducted by Elder W. C. Hall, Sunday afternoon at about 4 o'clock. Internment at the Evans graveyard, about 3 miles South west of Alamo. Mr. Cates had lived near this place for many years until a short time ago, when he moved to Alamo. Mr. Cates was member of the Church of Christ at Cross Roads. He was a Christian and had many friends. He is survived by a wife, two sons and five daughters.
