The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, December 5, 1946 Verner Cates Verner Cates, 52, died Friday at his home in Humboldt. Mr. Cates was a native of this county where he had many relatives and friends. His wife and one daughter; two brothers, Ewell and Clarence of Humboldt and Mose of Jackson survive him. Mr. Cates was Superintendent of the First Christian Church Sunday School in Humboldt. Funeral services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. B. Porter. |
