The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, June 5, 1947 Thompson Cates Thompson Cates, 44, son of the late D. W. Cates of Alamo, died Monday at his home in Los Angeles, Calif. after being in failing health for sometime. He is survived by two sisters, Mr. W. B. Warren of Alamo and Mrs. J. N. McMillan of Herman, Mo.; one half sister, Mrs. Lloyd Tucker of Memphis; one half brother, Lloyd Cates; one step-brother, Paul Langford of Milan and his step mother, Mrs. D. W. Cates of Alamo. Mr. Cates was reared in Alamo and was a member of the Christian Church. He has not lived here for a number of years but was a visitor here last year, and had many friends in Alamo and the county. The remains were interred in Los Angeles Tuesday. |
