From The Crockett Times, 5 Sep 1974 Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Agee Campbell, 55, of Dyersburg were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Friendship Funeral Home with Martin Lemon officiating. Burial in Bellevernon Cemetery. Mrs. Campbell died suddenly at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. She was born in Crockett County, daughter of Mrs. Leland Palmer Agee of Memphis and the late Obe Agee of Friendship. Besides her mother, she leaves her husband, Adrian Campbell; one son, Richard Campbell; one daughter, Mrs. Adrian Ruth Metcalf; all of Dyersburg; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Herring of Memphis; two brothers, Ralph Agee of Dallas, Texas, and Erskine Agee of Memphis; two grandchildren. [Laura "Frances" Agee married 23 May 1941 to Adrian G. Campbell. She was born 30 Jan 1919, died 30 Aug 1974.] |
