James Ellis Byrd Obituary

DEATH... Services for James Ellis BYRD, who died at his home near Alamo on Wednesday of last week after a long illness were held at Quincy Methodist Church Saturday, burial in Quincy Cemetery. He was a blacksmith, 52 years of age. He leaves his wife; five children, James BYRD, Elgie G. BYRD, Elvie BYRD, Eugene BYRD, and Betty Ruth BYRD; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. W. T. BYRD; a brother, John BYRD; five sisters, Mrs. Lela CHESSLER, Mrs. Ollie SPEER, Mrs. Lula SPEER, Mrs. Ruby DICKSON, and Mrs. Jessie CLIMER.
