The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, December 19, 1946 Mr. Jake Burnett Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Friendship for Mr. Jake Burnett, who died Tuesday morning at his home. Bro. W. C. Skinner conducted the services. Mr. Burnett was 72. He was born in Crockett County and spent his life as a farmer in this community. He was a Baptist. He had been ill two years. Burial in Friendship Cemetery with Evans & Lasiter Undertakers in charge. He is survived by his wife, Lou Mansfield Burnett, one daughter, Mrs. Roy Burnett of Friendship and one brother, Bob Burnett of Alamo. |
