Alton Lloyd Burnett Obituary

BOY DIES IN RAIN BARREL... Alton Lloyd BURNETT, 6-year-old son of Mr. & Mrs. Virgil BURNETT of near Alamo was drowned accidently at his home Sunday when he fell into a rain barrel full of water. His parents said they had taken the youngster to Sunday School and when they returned home he went out to play in the back yard. They began hunting for the child later and discovered his body in the barrel. Services were held Monday at the Church of Christ in Alamo, burial in Pond Creek Cemetery. He also leaves two sisters, Geraldine BURNETT and Peggy BURNETT; three brothers, Joe Carl BURNETT, Houston BURNETT and Raymond Lee BURNETT of near Alamo.
