Bertha Buckingham Obituary

Miss Bertha Buckingham--Miss Bertha Buckingham, 68, of the Cairo community, died on Sept. 8th at the home of her niece, Mrs. Jim Stephenson. She was found dead in bed. Miss Buckingham was born near Gadsden and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lige Buckingham. One brother, Lige Buckingham of this county, survives. Funeral services were held last Thursday at Gadsden Methodist church with Rev. Everett Porter and Rev. B. A. Walker officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge.
