The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, January 30, 1947 J. T. Brown Services for J. T. Brown, farmer of near Maury City, who died Saturday afternoon at his home were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Maury City Church of Christ. R. E. Black, minister of the Church of Christ officiated. Burial in the Sudbury Cemetery at Friendship. He was 45. He was born in Crockett County. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Janie Green Brown; a daughter, Katherine Ann Brown; two stepsons, James F. and Robert Ellie Gipson; four stepdaughters, Miss Willie Sue Gipson of Maury City, Mrs. Helen Emery of Union City, Mrs. Delois Trammell and Mrs. Marlin Kirby of Memphis and a foster daughter, Miss Eloise Brown of Memphis. |
