The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, July 18, 1946 Grover C. Bridger Services for Grover Cleveland Bridger, who died at 11:30 Sunday morning at his home, 1840 Oliver, were held at 1:30 Monday afternoon at the J. W. Norris Funeral Home by the Rev. E. A. Verdrey. Burial in Bellview Cemetery at Bells, Tenn. He was 61. Mr. Bridger was born in Sardis, Miss., and had spent most of his life in Dallas and Houston, before coming here when he became ill last January. He was a Baptist. Mr. Bridger was an accountant. He leaves his wife, Mrs. May Beckham Bridger; a son, G. L. Bridger of Sheffield, Ala.; three sisters, Dr. Alma B. Richard and Miss Ruth Bridger, both of Memphis, and Mrs. Fannie B.
