OMA BRASFIELD--Services for Mrs. Oma Brasfield, who died at her home near Friendship at noon Sunday were held Monday at Floyd's Chapel Methodist Church, burial in Church cemetery. She leaves her husband, E. R. Brasfield; two sons, J. E. BRASFIELD, of Trenton, Ga., and Russell BRASFIELD, of Friendship; three brothers, Geo. JONES, of Friendship, Roosevelt JONES and McKinley JONES, both of Halls; three sisters, Mrs. Joel BRASFIELD, of Friendship, Mrs. Elma DAVENPORT, of Dyersburg, and Miss Wilmer JONES of Halls. [The obit lists her as Oma, but her tombstone gives her name as Ona. She was the daughter of John Jones & Margaret Robertson, and the wife of Elvis R. Brasfield] |
