The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, October 17, 1940 Miss Minnie Brandenburg Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Gadsden Tuesday afternoon for Miss Minnie Brandenburg, 73, who died early Monday morning following a long illness. Services by the pastor, Rev. V. E. Banks of Alamo, and interment in Rosamond cemetery near Gadsden. She was born and reared in Gadsden, daughter of the late D. M. Brandenburg, pioneer strawberry grower of the South. One brother, George Brandenburg of Memphis; three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Young and Mrs. J. W. Persell of Gadsden and Mrs. Bessie Bennett, Little Rock, Ark., survive. Ronk Funeral Home in charge. |
