The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, May 23, 1946 Mrs. H. R. Branch Services for Mrs. H. R. Branch, who died of a heart attack at her home in Maury City, Tenn., Saturday afternoon at 1, were held at the Church of Christ in Gates Monday afternoon at 2 the Rev. W. O. Beard officiating. Burial in Gates Cemetery. Garner Funeral Home in charge. She was 78. A lifelong resident of Crockett County, Mrs. Branch was the daughter of the last J. B. and Mrs. Cornelia Parker. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. J. B. Lee of Gates and Mrs. M. N. Thompson of Jackson, Tenn.; a son, James H. Branch of Memphis; four sisters, Mrs. C. O. Moore, Mrs. M. E. Ferguson, both of Gates, Mrs. Laura McPherson of Memphis, and Mrs. A. S. Lucas of Cannon, Miss., and two brothers, W. D. Parker and E. G. Parker, both of Gates.
