The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, March 7, 1946 Mrs. John Dixie Branch Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Irion of Bells, Friday afternoon for Mrs. John Dixie Branch, Sr., 51. Burial was in Alamo cemetery. Survivors include her husband and three sons John Dixie Branch Jr., of near Johnson Grove; Howard Branch of Salem, Oregon; Wayne G. Branch of near Johnson Grove; her father, G. W. Stanley of Halls; three sisters, Mrs. Ellie Neal, Mrs. Velna Neal and Mrs. C. H. Brandon of Halls; three brothers, Silas Stanley of Jackson, Preston Stanley of Memphis, Wilbur Stanley of Gates and one grandchild. Pallbearers were: E. S. Kail, Hubert Privett, Eldred Manning, Forrest Smith, Ralph Boyett. Ronk Funeral Home in charge. [Annie May Standley Branch was the daughter of George & Sarah Standley] |
