Crockett County Sentinel Alamo, Tennessee Friday, Nov. 21, 1873 The remains of Mr. W. R. Bowen was interred in the town cemetery last Monday with the funeral rites of the Masonic fraternity. Deceased was a good citizen and his loss is deeply mourned. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his widow and fatherless children, and point them to Him, for consollation, who has said, "I will be a husband to the widow and a father to the fatherless." William R. Bowen was born 13 Jan 1834, died 17 Nov 1873, and is buried in the Alamo City Cemetery. His wife Louisa/Louiza E. was born 2 Sep 1834, died 26 Sep 1898, and is also buried in the Alamo City Cemetery. |
