Mrs. Margaret Boals b: Nov. 2, 1875, d: June 2, 1971 Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Boals, 95, were held at 4 p.m. Friday at Salem Presbyterian church with Rev. James Westbrook and Rev. Carl Davis officiating. Burial in the church cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Boals died Wednesday night at St. Mary's hospital in Humboldt after a short illness. At the time of her death she lived in Humboldt but had formerly lived in Crockett County. She was the widow of Robert Boals who died in 1943. She leaves three daughters, Miss Carrie Boals and Mrs. Reggie Ray of Memphis and Mrs. Herman Palmore of Humboldt, three sons, Ernest Boals , Marshall Boals, both of Humboldt and Hiram Boals of Paris; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Patterson and Mrs. Pearl Perry, both of Humboldt and Mrs. M. P. Cox of Gadsden; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Her grandsons served as pallbearers. |
