Crockett County Sentinel Alamo, Tennessee Friday, April 17, 1874 Died, at the residence of G. W. Boals, near Gadsden, on Sunday the 5th inst., Mr. Jas. Boals, of Crockett Co., Tenn; aged about 70 years. Father Boals was a pious Christian, a kind father, and a good man. He expressed his willingness to die. He wanted to leave this world of trouble and go where sorow (sic), pain and death are felt and feared no more. He leaves a large circle of friends and relatives to mourn his loss here below; but we do not sorrow as those that have no hope, for we feel that our loss is his eternal gain. |
