DEATH--Services for Thomas C. BALLENTINE, retired farmer, who died near Friendship Monday were held at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church, burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. He was 83., and he had spent his entire life in Crockett County. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ellen Arnold BALLENTINE; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha SHELTON, of Dyersburg; and a son, J. H. BALLENTINE, of Detroit, Mich.
