The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, August 14, 1947 Mrs. Zelphia Baird Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Maury City for Mrs. Zelphia Wise Baird, who died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Dora Buford in Maury City, Tuesday following an illness of two weeks. The Rev. J. B. Hill officiated. Burial in Maury City cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Baird was 89. Mrs. Baird was born in Crockett County and was a member of the Baptist Church. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Buford; one brother, Mr. J. B. Wise, both of Maury City and one foster daughter, Miss Lillian Cook of Ashville, N. C. |
