The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, May 8, 1947 Mrs. E. M. Baird Services were held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon in the First Christian Church for Mrs. E. M. Baird, who died at her home in Jackson Monday night after a lengthy illness. The Rev. C. R. Hickman officiated. Burial in Hollywood Cemetery with Griffin Funeral Home in charge. She was 59. Mrs. Baird had lived in Jackson since her marriage to Mr. Baird at Henderson in 1907. She was a member of the First Christian Church, where she was active in church affairs, and the G. I. A. of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. She leaves her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Williams of Bells; a daughter, Mrs. Aubrey Gordon of New Orleans; three brothers, Don Williams of Paducah, Ky., C. M. Williams, Jr., of Bells and Max Williams of Little Rock, and a sister, Mrs. Paul Conley of Alamo. |
