The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, Dec. 22, 1938 W. H. Badgett Mr. Henry Badgett of near Maury City died Tuesday at the advanced age of 83 years. Mr. Badgett was well known throughout the county and an upright Christian gentleman. Many friends throughout this section will mourn the passing of a fine citizen and good neighbor. He is survived by two sons, Carl, merchant at Badgett; Will, of Maury City; three daughters: Mrs. A. B. Crutchfield of Greenfield; Mrs. Annie Lemons of Beaumont, Texas, and Mrs. C. R. Lassiter of near Friendship. Also several grandchildren, and a number of nephews and nieces survive. Mr. Badgett was a member of the Christian church at Crockett Mills for many years. Funeral services were held at the Crockett Mills Christian church Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Frank Perry, and interment at Perry Graveyard. Evans & Lasiter in charge. |
