Crockett (Tenn.) Times, Feb. 19, 1976: Mrs. Badgett Services for Mrs. Beauton Badgett, 74, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Friendship United Methodist Church with Rev. John Britt and Rev. Joe Walker, Jr., officiating. Burial in Bellevernon cemetery. Friendship Funeral Home was in charge. Mrs. Badgett died at 5 p.m. Thursday at Jackson Madison County Hospital. She was the wife of Claude Badgett and was born in Crockett county. She was the daughter of the late James T. and Mary Boyett Haley. She is survived by other than her husband, one daughter, Miss Mary Alice Badgett of Friendship; two sons James Badgett and Harold Badgett, both of Memphis; one brother, James B. (Buddy) Haley of Friendship; one sister, Mrs. Laverne Neal of Trimble; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. |
