The Crockett Times, Alamo, and/or Crockett County Sentinel, Bells 28 Aug 1975 Services for Herman E. (Bucky) Austin, 80, of Miami, Fla. were held on Monday. Mr. Austin died on his 45th wedding anniversary. He was born in Alamo, Tenn., son of the late Herman and "Miss" Tommy Austin, who taught school in Alamo for many years. He was a veteran of World War I, and after serving more than two years with the Army in France he went to Miami, Fla. He retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. when he was 65. He sold tires for 20 years in Miami. He leaves his wife, Ruby; one daughter, Mrs. Carlton Gray; three grandchildren.
