Thursday, November 20, 1947 John Oliver Arthur Services for John Oliver Arthur, farmer, who died at his home in Bradford, Tenn., Monday, Nov. 17 at 11:40 p.m., were held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Davis Grove Methodist Church. The Rev. Cransford officiated. Burial in Davis Grove Cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Arthur was 62, and was a former resident of Crockett County. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Arthur, children, Clyde Arthur, Lima, Ohio; Dennis Arthur, Cedar Grove; Mrs. Brown Turner, Trenton; Mrs. Varnell Parmer, Bradford; Miss Vorla Arthur, Bradford; seven sisters, Mrs. Jim Thompson, Alamo, Mrs. Maude Hunt, Memphis; Mrs. Ida Raines, Trenton; Mrs. A. J. Weddington, Bradford; Mrs. Bill Parmer, Milan; Mrs. Raymond Putt, Moro, Ark.; and Mrs. Allie Mae Lee of Marinna, Ark. |
