Marshall Agee

Marshall Agee, 75, lifelong resident of Crockett County, died Wednesday at 1 p.m. at his home near Lebanon. He was a Methodist and is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Scarborough of Maury City and Mrs. Johnnie Cook of Lebanon; two brothers, Burton Agee of Dyersburg and Elmas Agee of Maury City and one sister, Mrs. Dan Agee of Maury City.

Funeral services Friday at 11 a.m. at Old Field by Rev. E. E. Thurmond.

Thompson Funeral Home in charge.

Marshall Agee

Services for Mr. Marshall C. Agee were held at Floyd's Chapel Church, Friday morning, Oct. 17th at 11 o'clock. He died Wednesday afternoon at 1:05 o'clock.

Mr. Agee was born in Crockett County and lived his entire 75 years, 2 months, 4 days near his birth place.

He was married to Miss Ida Richardson 55 years this coming December. To this union was born 2 girls, Mrs. Zuna [Zuma} Scarborough and Mrs. Ora Cook, 12 grand children and 14 great grand children.

Mr. Agee was known far and near as the man with the kind and helping hand and was loved by all that knew him.

He became a member of the M. E. Church when quite young and lived a life that can be remembered by his active services to all churches.

He is survived by his wife and both daughters, grand children, great grand children and a host of relatives and friends.

Thompson Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.

[Marshall Columbus Agee was the son of Christopher Columbus Agee and Sarah E. Connell. His wife was Ida Lee Elvis Richardson]
