The Crockett Times, Alamo, and/or Crockett County Sentinel, Bells 30 Jan 1975 Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Mai Acred, 69, were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Ronk Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Barbar officiating. Burial was in Forty-eight Cemetery, near Waynesboro. Mrs. Acred died Wednesday at Gibson County General Hospital in Trenton after a short illness. She was the daughter of Mrs. Mertie Green of Bells and the late Ab Green. She formerly lived in Alamo, but had moved to the Brazil Community in Gibson County. She was the wife of Dennis Acred. Other survivors are: one daughter, Mrs. Denetry Loggins of Nashville, two sons, David Garner of Nashville and Clyde Garner of Naylor, Mo; two sisters, Mrs. Lurline Morton of Bells and Mrs. Ruth Powell of Friendship; two brothers, Cecil Green and Coy Green, both of near Bells; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. |
