Progressive Rook was enjoyed until a late hour when the daintiest of refreshments were served. Every guest enjoyed the evening to the fullest extent. Mr. Ned YORK won the gift of honor by capturing the most points in each game.

The old Friendship Pharmacy bldg. on Depot Street is being converted into a pool room, barber shop and restaurant. E. F. BUCKLES will run the barber shop and restaurant and Horace HOWELL will run the pool room.
Dr. W. M. THOMPSON went to Jackson Monday and purchased a new Ford car. He was accompanied by Mr. John WRAY.

Roy T. COFFMAN has moved his stock of drugs into his new building on the corner of Main and Depot Streets. This is one of the nicest buildings in the county and the drug store will be up-to-date in every respect. It will be lighted by electricity. The building of this modern brick on the corner where the Grounds drug store stood for many years, marks a great improvement in this growing town.
