Mrs. ST. JOHN, aged about 45 years, well known lady residing near Maury City, was the victim of a horrible accident yesterday. She was rendering lard when her clothes became ignited and she was so badly burned that no hope is entertained for her recovery. She was still living at 9 o'clock this morning.
W. P. SANDERS of the firm, WRAY & SANDERS, hardware dealer, has sold his interest to his partner, W. E. WRAY. Mr. SANDERS' residence was also included in the trade. Mr. WRAY will have as his partner, a brother who lives in Texas.

The remains of Mrs. Fannie STALLINGS who died in the West Tennessee Asylum at Boliver yesterday were shipped here today and interred at Antioch. she formerly lived in this community. Three sons and one daughter survive.
