Bedford HOPKINS, a prominent young man of the Sanders vicinity died Monday in Memphis where he went to have an operation performed. Mr. HOPKINS was kicked by a horse several days ago and the wounds resulted in his death. The remains were brought home Tuesday for burial.
The little three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter McCANLESS died Tuesday.
Howell Bros., the new grocerymen on Depot Street, have sold their entire stock to H. D. HOWELL, the Main Street grocery and restaurant man. The store was opened only a short time ago and was in charge of E. H. HOWELL who has accepted a position with the International Harvester Co.

Harrison HENDRIX, Graydon SANDERS and Alex VERNON have gone to Memphis on business.
Bedford HOPKINS, who was kicked by a horse recently, went to Memphis to be operated on. The last news we had the doctors said they hadn't operated on him yet and might not perform the operation at all.
