• I am in search of records on my Grandparents, ROBERT FRANKLIN STINNETT, ETHEL BOLDEN. I don't know much on Ethel, except that she died approx. 1935 after having the following children: RAYMOND, HELEN, CLARA & WILLIAM. There was also one child that died as a toddler named MYRTLE. ROBERT had the following sisters: HARRIET, (married Charles Rutledge), LILY & MATTIE. He was born 10/15/1890 in I think Seveir County. However, my mother was born in NEWPORT, TENNESSEE, which is why I am trying this county. Any info on any of the above will be greatly appreciated. Will share what I have which is descendants of. • James Harvey MILLER, b. 7-16-1813, Panell's Valley, east TN. Moved to Washington Co. where raised. When of age (18?) moved to Cork Co. (Cocke Co.) where he married Annie POTTER. Moved to MO and lived in Clay Co. and then Buchanan Co. where his wife died. Was married again (Rosanna GANN) in 1845 and lived for a while in Lafayette Co. In 1859 he emigrated to California and settled San Joaquin Co. In 1871 moved to Mendocino Co.and settled a few miles east of Ukiah city where he died May 20th, 1880. Looking for any information linking these three families and looking for the location of Parnell's Valley

• Looking for info re: my gggg grandfather, Abijah RICE. He was b. in 1794 in what is now Cocke Co. He was a tanner by trade, and enlisted in the War of 1812 in Kentucky. He was in MO Territory by 1818. Family tradition says he was Cherokee, and according to his description on enlisting, he had "grey eyes, black hair and a dark complexion." Any info would be greatly appreciated.
