Charles T.P Talley served in Company C, 8th Tennessee Volunteer Infantry and died 9-24-1863 of Typhoid Fever.

Charles T. P. Talley married Susan Adeline Fox on 8-11-1857; married by John Kelley, J.P., at the house of her father.

Their children lived with her in the 4th Civil District:
4-18-1865 - Moses Driskill and Daniel Driskill of the 10th Civil District witnessed Susan's signature.

Carter B. Fox and Joseph Talley of the 11th Civil District witnessed Susan's signature.

11-16-1868 - Joseph Talley and Daniel Driskill swore that they knew Charles and Susan Talley and that they were married and that he died in the military. Joseph Talley swore that he served in the army with Charles.

1-9-1869 - Carter B. Fox and Joseph Talley swore that they were in the same company as Charles Talley.

12-23-1865 - Aden Smith and George Smith of the 3rd Civil District witnessed Susan's signature.

Susan died about 10-27-1900.
