George D. Holt served in Company C, 8th Regiment, Tennessee Volunteer Infantry. He died 6-12-1867 at Camp Robinson, KY.

George Holt married Mary Holt 11-28-1854; they were married by Charles Kelley, J.P. They never had children. She lived in the 5th Civil District.

John Lovel and Joseph A. Moore witnessed Mary's signature.

Mary died 10-29-1903.
