The following list contains my ancestors who
participated in the Civil War. Ancestors fought on both sides. I will
include the source of the information on the list.
Holloway Baxter, Co 4, First Tenn Battery (?), out
of Vicksburg, MS,
Confederate Army, captured and died in Camp Morton, Indiana.
Buried in Crown Hill Confederate Plot Cemetery, Section 32, Site 285,

Holloway was the son of James and Rhoda Giles Baxter.
Perry Baxter, 4th TN Cavalry A, Union Army
Sources: Pension Applications, Civil War, Ancestry.com
Perry was the son of James and Rhoda Giles Baxter.
I believe Saunders (Sanders) Baxter also fought
with the Union Army,
but I don't have that data.
Saunders was the son of James and Rhoda Giles Baxter.
Like many families, two brothers fought for the north and two brothers
fought for the south.
