BRANDON<\/strong>, of the Clarksburg community, died last Friday morning after an illness of several weeks. \u00a0<strong>Mr. BRANDON<\/strong> was 75 years old, a member of the Christian church and a highly respected citizen. \u00a0He was well known to the people of our town, having carried the mail from this place to Clarksburg for several years and was engaged in that business when he was taken sick. \u00a0His wife died a few weeks ago and <strong>Mr. BRANDON<\/strong> never completely rallied from the grief brought upon him by her loss, and that, coupled with his old age, caused his death. \u00a0<strong>Mr. BRANDON<\/strong>, as we knew him, was a kind-hearted, noble old man, and one who commanded the entire respect and confidence of all who were acquainted with him. \u00a0He was buried Saturday at the Sellers graveyard, the services being conducted by <strong>Rev.
