First that my funeral expences and all my just debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executors.<br \/>\nSecndly I give and bequeath to my daughter Emmia Prince formerly Emma Britt my slaves Jerry and Merritt.<br \/>\nThirdly I give and bequeath to my son Hiram Britt my slave Anderson.<br \/>\nFourthly. I give and bequeath to my son John B. Britt my slaves Henry and Perry.<br \/>\nFifthly I give and bequeath to the lawful begotten heirs of James J. Britt Decased five hundred dollars to be equally divided between said heirs there living I further bequeath that at my death if Joseph C. Britt the lawful begotten heir of Allen Britt is then living or has any lawful begotten heirs living I give and bequeath to him or them my slave Ransom other wise I desire that said slave Ransom be sold and the proceeds of said sale be equally divided between Emma Prince Hiram Britt John B. Britt and the lawful begotten heirs of James J. Britt Decd.<br \/>\nLastly I do hereby nominate and appoint John B. Britt and George H. Prince my Executors In witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand and seal this the 2nd day of March 1847<\/p>\n<p>Hollan Britt<br \/>\nX her mark<\/p>\n<p>Signed sealed and published in our presence and we have subscribed our names hereto in the presence of the Testator this the 2nd day of March 1847.<\/p>\n<p>George H. Prince one of the subscribing witness thereto and Young W. Allen the former clerk of this Court which the court received and ordered that the same be duly recorded of which the foregoing is a copy Test this Aug 7th 1856.<\/p>\n<p>W. H.
