About Carroll County<\/h3>\n

Carroll County is located in West Tennessee, one of the state\u2019s Three Grand Divisions<\/a>. It is approximately halfway between Nashville and Memphis. The Tennessee General Assembly created Carroll County on 7 November 1821 from the 19 October 1818 Great Chickasaw Cession<\/a>. The county is named in honor of Governor William Carroll. The county seat is Huntingdon.<\/p>\n
